It's the little things that I love. I am a Mac guy at heart, but I am loving this ethernet jack designed into this Inspiron 5000 computer... So minimal. Works great for us because our ethernet cables run from the ceiling.

Logo I designed turned into $375 belt buckle.

In december of 2004, I designed a logo for a lawyer turned fashion designer. She makes belts. Thehappycorp got the assignment to take pictures, design her logo, and produce a printed look book.

We dealt with a printer who was recommended to us by another party, and the job got totally messed up. It was a real simple job 4 cards, and a folder with a simple emboss. The printer offered us a great deal because the aformentioned party was amigos with said printer. The printer was unable to deliver a quality product,it ended up bad. We never got to see the final work. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but you can always learn.
The client didn't take our recommendations on the overall look but in the end we were happy with the logo, the photography, and even the belts. Wish we could show you what we did, but there are certain laws with regard to copyright, that prevent of from sharing. So before you work for anyone, understand your rights with regard to intellectual property.
